2. Remove the four screws securing the hard drive bracket in place (see letter “A” in

the figure below). Save the screws; you will use them to install the hard drive

bracket back into the server system.

3. Remove the hard drive bracket from the server system.

4. Install the hard drive(s) into the hard drive bracket using four screws (see letter “B”

in the figure below).

Note: Install screws into the round holes first, then the slotted holes.

5. When all hard drives have been installed in the hard drive cage, reinstall the hard

drive bracket and secure into the server system with the four screws you removed in

step 2 (see letter “C” in the figure below).

6. Install the server system cover. For instructions, see “Installing the System Cover”.

7. Plug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable(s) into the server.
